Change-of-mind returns

We offer a 30-day change-of-mind return period, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unused, with tags, and in its original packaging — and you will need the receipt or proof of purchase. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost, and we recommend using a trackable shipping method so your return reaches us safely. Sale items and gift cards are excluded from change-of-mind returns.

To start a return, contact us at info@southernflax.com.au. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Please inspect your order on delivery and contact us straight away at info@southernflax.com.au if an item is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right — including a repair, replacement or refund where required. Where an item is confirmed faulty, damaged or incorrect, we will cover the reasonable cost of returning it.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. The change-of-mind conditions above do not limit or exclude any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have and, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
