Every Southern Flax set is cut for standard Australian mattress sizes, with a deep-pocket fitted sheet that fits mattresses up to 40 cm deep. Use the guide below to choose your size with confidence.

The + 40 cm on each fitted sheet is the pocket depth — the fabric wall that tucks under your mattress. The + 13 cm on each pillowcase is the additional cuff at the opening, not extra depth.

How to measure your bed

Three quick measurements are all you need. A soft tape measure works best.

  1. Width

    Measure straight across the top of your mattress, edge to edge, at its widest point.

  2. Length

    Measure from the head of the mattress to the foot, along the centre of the bed.

  3. Depth

    Measure from the base seam to the top edge, including any mattress topper. If it's 40 cm or less, our fitted sheet will fit.

Many modern mattresses — particularly pillow-tops or beds with a topper — sit deeper than older styles. Every Southern Flax fitted sheet has a 40 cm pocket and is cut to standard Australian sizes, so it stays smooth and secure on the mattress, in soft microfiber that is easy to live with.
